From economics to language education to educational management – these sums up Noreen’s foray into the academe. Surprisingly, the shift from left-brain dominance to right-brain dominance has not been fraught with difficulties. This effortless shift from one to the other and vice versa proved to be hugely useful into the world of RESEARCH, a path she reluctantly entered but has since then fully embraced. Now, the adage, “Research is a way of life!” exemplifies her involvement in the academe as a researcher, first and foremost.
Learning research from scratch while on field, she has found her strongest niche in making sense of raw data. Her involvement in research has taken her to specializations beyond her academic degrees: maritime, health, business, governance, among others. Indeed, research has heightened the balance between the left and right hemispheres of her brain, enabling her to fearlessly explore any research topic.
